There is proverb Hair style is beauty so face is beauty. Layers are back, but this season they look on point styled in fluid waves called "wayers." If you don't want to invest in a haircut, cheat it by "layering" your waves like we did. Here, expert stylist Tom Gilling of trendy salon Taylor Taylor London shows you how to get the look in six simple steps:
Step 1: Section your hair into the first layer, starting at the back and working you way up. As you go, mist each horizontal section with a good hairspray for heat protection and hold. Take 1-inch pieces of hair in the layers across the head and wrap each one horizontally around a tong to create curls. (Top tip: using a small-barrelled tong with a larger section of hair will help create more definite waves) Step 3: Continue around the head and pin each curl as you go for extra setting power. Step 4: Without parting your hair, tong all of the top section in layers away from your face and pin. This will give you body at the roots. Step 5: Once cool, unpin and brush each section out individually so that they sit on top of each other. This will create the perfect natural wave for this style and you will get a layered effect. (Top tip: don't brush all the layers of waves together or this will break it up.) Step 6: Create a parting to your personal preference and then finish with hairspray to make the wayers long-lasting.
